<p>The amounts of foods labeled fat free have infiltrated the market at every turn. Fat-free cheese, fat-free chocolate, fat-free ice cream, fat-free dinner entrees and other foods labeled fat-free have become regularly stocked merchandise in stores. These foods are indeed better for you. However, consuming these foods does not always result in a fat-free body.</p>
<p>The reason why is people believe that these foods are fatfree is because it says on these food labels fatfree and it even says; 0 grams of fat on the nutrition label on the back of the package. However, this does not always mean that the item is fatfree. This is because the fatfree label may not necessarily represent all the kinds of fat that are in a food.</p>
<p>This does not mean that all foods that say they are fat free are not completely fat free. It just means that you have to watch very closely on each food label to see exactly what fat has been removed from the food so you know exactly what to expect when you eat it. You also need to be aware of the types of fat that are contained in food as well. </p>
<p>The different types of fat that people take into their bodies include trans fat, poly and monounsaturated fats and saturated fats. Saturated fats and trans fats and are the ones that are most used to fry foods and/or to increase the shelf lives of foods. These are the ones that are most likely to cause high cholesterol and to clog a persons arteries. These types of fats are found in a variety of foods.</p>
<p>Saturated fats are found in most meats, dairy foods, and eggs. They can also be found in certain oils such as coconut, palm, and kernel oil. These are the types of fats that are solid at room temperatures.</p>
<p>Trans fats are fats that have been made into a solid or a partial solid. Therefore, even though trans fats are considered unsaturated they have become a concern because they have a similar function as the saturated fats in many cases. As stated earlier they have the potential to raise a persons cholesterol level and to clog the arteries. </p>
<p>Any foods that have the ingredient; partially hydrogenated cooking oil or hydrogenated cooking oil are considered to contain trans fat. These should be eaten in very small doses. If not, these food substances can become harmful to ones health. Some types of foods that trans fat include crackers, cookies, snack chips, and fried chicken. It is also included in ingredients such as shortening, lard, butter, or hard margarine. </p>
<p>Trans fat is one source of fat, which until recent years, had not been included on food labels that say fat-free. This is one reason why food labels that say fat free might not necessarily be fat free. Therefore, be careful when reading fatfree food labels. You want to make sure that it says; 0 grams of trans fat and 0 grams of saturated fat, before you purchase the fat free item.</p>
<p>One other aspect of fat-free that you will need to consider is that carbohydrates that are not used up by the body turn into fat as well. Therefore, even though a food item says fat free on the package you still need to eat it in moderation.</p>
<p>One example of a fatfree food that many people eat is pretzels. You cannot eat a whole bag of pretzels and expect to lose weight. The reason why is that pretzels may contain a high carbohydrate count. The more carbs you take in the more chance you have of having these carbohydrates turn into fat. This is perhaps one of the most important points to remember when choosing fat free foods and incorporating them into your diet.</p>
<p>Choosing to eat fat free versions of most foods can be very beneficial to you. The point is, however, to make sure that you remember also to eat a balanced diet. Not only that, but you need to have an exercise plan. Even if you eat less food you may not lose as much weight as you want to lose if you do not exercise.</p>
<p>For the best results, you will want to incorporate a balanced diet that gives you the nutrients you need from day to day. That means that you should have a specific amount of grains, meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables, and fats in your diet (the amounts of each vary depending upon which diet you follow). This along with a regular exercise regiment that helps you burn fat will benefit you the most.</p>

<p>So what are some easy ways to lose weight without dieting? Well, </p>
<p>Choose a pedometer. <br />
Buy one of these and put in on your belt loop. Set a goal to get in and extra steps each day. A good goal to shoot for is 1,000 or more steps. </p>
<p>Eat food in small bowls rather than plates. Here we are going to do like Asian cultures do. When you put food in bowls, not only are you automatically downsizing the portion, but you are also making the food trick your eyes into believing you are eating a good amount of food. If you put the food into%26nbsp; a small bowl, it will look fulfilling and inviting. Psychologically, you will feel satisfied, just like you had filled up a large round plate with food. </p>
<p>One a week, eat foods that taste like they have a lot of calories but actually only have a small amount of calories in them. These foods include shrimp, lobster or a small dollop of whipped cream. You can shrimp from the seafood department of your local grocery store and have them steam and season it to your liking.. </p>
<p>There are many other easy ways to lose weight without going on a diet. The most important theme in all of this is that you are making your mind believe that you are being satisfied. Other easy ways%26nbsp; to lose weight include drinking plenty of water. This helps keep you full and it helps the body to burn more fat. </p>

<p>I just got engaged recently and to mark this joyous occasion, I&#8217;m pleased to share with you guys what I think is one of the most sumptuous paleo food recipes ever!</p>
<p>Also, I&#8217;m currently down with the flu and since I have nothing better to do, I figured why not share some cool recipes online? </p>
<p>I got this recipe sharing habit which I picked up from my late grandma…</p>
<p>Now I tell, you I&#8217;m no pansy or anything. As a matter of fact I&#8217;m a recreational bodybuilder who happens to love sharing recipe ideas like my home maker grandma used to do, okay? So don&#8217;t be thinking that I&#8217;m a pansy or anything okay?</p>
<p>Now listen, when I first got started on the caveman diet, I was struck at how shockingly boring most paleo food recipes are! </p>
<p>At first, I didn&#8217;t mind eating dull paleo meals each day. But after a while I started yearning for some taste- shattering foods!</p>
<p> I wanted recipes for paleo cookies, snacks and more fancy, tasty yet easy to make paleolithic diet dishes.</p>
<p>So if you feel the same way, then you owe it to yourself to try out this paleo beef recipe that will shock your gastronomic senses!</p>
<p>I can make lots of great tasting paleo food recipes now all thanks to this paleo cookbook website. They have a set of download only cookbooks packed with paleo-friendly recipes. </p>

<p>Anyway, you should try this recipe right away! </p>
<p>Paleolithic 3-Spice Tropicana Beef Loin Steaks</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll need: 2 pieces of fat free beef loin steaks, 2 ½ tbs of dried coconut, 2 glasses of pineapple juice, chili flakes, blended spice of cardamom, pepper and coriander.</p>
<p>Directions:</p>
<p>(1)  Remove bone from loin steaks. Rub chili flakes and spices onto the meat. Rub thoroughly okay because we want the beef to fully absorb the spices.</p>
<p>(2)  Cover both steak loins with 2 ½ tbs of dried coconut and place them in a bowl or a Ziploc bag together with just ONE glass of pineapple juice. Marinade for at least one hour in the refrigerator.</p>
<p>(3)  Time to cook the steaks! Remove from refrigerator and plop the steaks in a non-stick skillet. Now pour in the remaining pineapple juice, turn on the heat and and wait for the steaks to be cooked. Be sure to add extra juice in case it dries up before the steaks are cooked. </p>
<p>This is definitely one of my favorite paleo food recipes and since I&#8217;m feeling pretty hungry right now, I&#8217;m just going to make some right this minute! </p>

<p>So you have made the decision to lose weight, now how do you stick to your plan and not just suffer from &#8216;I will start it on Monday&#8217; syndrome!</p>
<p>There are many inspiring true stories out there of people who have risen to the challenge and are making great leaps in weight loss. The easy part is starting is starting the plans and the diet; the difficult part is sticking to it weeks later and keeping the focus and momentum. What happens when you crave the slice of cheesecake or burger and chips? How do we prevent those cravings?</p>
<p>There are firstly some important things to remember as part of the your weight loss programme:</p>
<p>Eat often</p>
<p>Eat up to 6 small meals a day. Forget the old three square meals a day. The more often you eat, the more you speed up your metabolism. The more seldom you eat, the more your body goes into starvation mode and conserves fat! (which certainly don&#8217;t want to do!). <br />It is vital to maintain blood sugar and not go for long periods without food. When you do eat, your insulin will spike causing you to feel even more tired and hungry. If you wait too long between eating, you are also more likely to crave high fat, high salt food such as chips or chocolates. Also not eating frequently leads to decreased energy, bad moods, headaches, dizziness and fatigue.</p>
<p>Eat more Protein.</p>
<p>Every meal should contain protein, even snacks; this can be in the form of a good quality protein shake. It is important to balance your protein and carbs. There should be more protein then carbs at each meal. Protein helps you feel full and stops hunger. It helps build muscle. It helps lower cholesterol. </p>
<p>Eat vegetables.</p>
<p>Very important to e give your body the vitamins and nutrients it needs for overall health and to support muscle growth. Include as many fresh veggies as you can with your protein based meals.</p>
<p>Essential Fats</p>
<p>Very important to get into Essential Fatty Acids, which the body does not make and can only be consumed from food yet are essential for out body to function optimally. Include fish oil, especially salmon (omega 3) and nuts including nut butters into your diet, eg peanut butter, and almond butter ( omega 6) and olive oil ( omega 9) into your daily food plan.</p>

<p>Besides the fact that almost very function in your body requires water and it is essential for life, water helps you lose weight!</p>

<p>Consumption of carbohydrate is essential for losing belly fat, but there are good carbs and bad carbs. Refined flours and the foods that they create, such as white bread, pasta, donuts, cakes and biscuits should be avoided. They can cause bloating, poor digestion, and lead to accumulation of fat.</p>
<p>“Good carbs”, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, should be eaten instead. Slow release carbohydrates are also beneficial, such as oats, brown rice, some pulses and sweet potato. A diet that takes most of its carbs from fruits and vegetables, as opposed to refined flours, is healthier. Learn Which Foods are Low GI and Low Sugar.</p>
<p>Ideally granary or wholemeal bread should be eaten instead of white bread, and biscuits and cakes should be avoided.
